Over 211,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 40,000 will die this year. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is working to reduce those numbers both locally and globally and to make a difference in the lives of the women, men and their families touched by breast cancer.

As a National Survivor Sponsor, we need RE/MAX volunteers for the Kingsport Komen Race. Help breast cancer research and proudly wave the RE/MAX flag to thousands of potential new customers.

Here's the sequence of events:

   ▪  Race packet/shirt pickup at Dick's Sporting Goods                10/25/2008           3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

   ▪  Team Photos, Check-In & On-site Registration                      10/26/2008          1:00 pm  - 2:30 pm

   ▪  Dash for the Cure                                                                     10/26/2008          2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

   ▪  Race for the Cure Start                                                            10/26/2008          3:00 pm
 

It's easy and fun.  See how you can be involved:

    ▪  Become the RE/MAX Champion Volunteer for the Kingsport race.

    ▪  Volunteer to help in the Survivor Tent by handing out hats, t-shirts, ribbon stickers and bags to survivors.

    ▪  Assist with the distribution of back place cards to runners. 

    ▪  Be available wherever additional help is needed at the race.              

    ▪  Run or walk in the race! Form a team of friends and run or walk together!
